Korissa grew up as a pastor’s daughter in the mountains of Missoula, Montana with a family of six that claimed the covenant found in Joshua 24:15- “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”. Music was always an integral part of family life- Korissa began singing at the age of 2 and traveled in the “Wally Wagon” and trailer ministering with southern gospel music at churches and camps throughout parts of the United States and overseas in Hong Kong, Japan and China. Highlights included recording 3 gospel albums with her family, recording with The Lundstrom’s studio and musicians, working with producer Alan Moore (Sandi Patty, Amy Grant) as well as being honored as a group at the Estes Park Music in the Rockies!
After leaving the nest, she studied vocal performance at Northwestern College and went on to sing professionally with a wide variety of solo, opera & choral experience. She has sung with the Dale Warland Singers, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, as well as Minnesota Opera. She spent a summer singing in Opera in the Ozarks, as well as in Germany. Korissa also has a love of travel, ministry and leading worship, bringing the gospel message of redemption to the people of Ukraine as a soloist with the chorale, Evangelion, as well as at conferences & Mom’s Groups!
The Lord has used Korissa’s potpourri of musical experiences to hone her skills, but most importantly her heart, to use her voice to be a reflection of His glory in a hurting world!
